PEN Oakland has honored poet Diane di Prima with the Reginald Lockett Lifetime Achievement Award.

Diane is the author of many books, including the recently released new edition of Revolutionary Letters.

(The award has been renamed for the Vice President of PEN Oakland who was deeply loved, and who died May 15, 2008 of a massive heart attack.  Reggie was, and is a brilliant poet, who truly represented Oakland, its beauty and truth in his poetry.)
